ECS was founded by Dr Mark Rawlins in 1996, with the core belief that energy efficiency and carbon reduction are key drivers in business competitiveness. At the heart of the logo is the shape of a flame’s centre the point where combustion is most stable, efficient, and controlled. This represents ECS’s focus on precision, optimisation, and performance: energy that is not wasted, but used exactly as it should be.
The blue in the logo reflects the colour of a perfect flame — one that is burning cleanly and efficiently. In energy systems, a blue flame is the benchmark of optimal combustion, symbolising technical excellence, reliability, and operational control.
The green element represents our commitment to greener energy and a more sustainable future. It reflects ECS’s role in enabling reduced emissions, improved efficiency, and responsible energy management across industrial operations.
